Care Instructions
Care Instructions
~ Your wax melts will arrive in a glassine bag, these bags are perfect to keep the melts in as they do not draw the scent out of the melts.
~ We recommend using a 4 hour burn unscented tea light, to avoid your burner getting too hot. This length of tea-light will enable you to get the most from your wax melts.
~ Always store in a dry and cool place, out of any sunlight. Never leave a burning candle unattended, always keep burners away from children, pets, drafts and never move a burner while lit.
~ We are CLP compliant, this information can be found on the back of your wax melt bag. If you have misplaced this, please contact us and we will send this to you; info@hzllarts.com
Wax Melt Safety
Wax Melt Safety
~ to avoid a fire hazard; never leave candle burning unattended
~ keep out of the reach of children and pets
~ keep your candle away from direct airflow (i.e fans, windows, drafts) if the flame has too much movement, there will not be enough heat for an even burn.
CHANGING YOUR WAX MELTS
~ Once you can no longer smell your fragrance or you just fancy burning a new one, it's time to change and remove the wax.
~ There are many ways to remove your wax, this is just one way we recommend:
~ Light a tea-light under your burner and wait for a minute (or maybe less) until you can see the edges of your wax start to melt. Once you see this, you can blow out the tea-light, using a tissue push on the outer of the wax, this should release the wax in one block. You can then discard this and use another tissue to wipe any residue. Take care and extra precautions as your burner might be hot to touch.
~You're now ready to burn a new scent. Enjoy :)
